Acrobat DC (2015 to 2019 versions), Acrobat 2015, Acrobat 2017, Arobat 2020
Acrobat DC is the marketing name of Adobe's new 2015 release of Acrobat. (DC stands for Document Cloud). Although this follows version 11.0 it is not version 12.0, but is either referred to as Acrobat 15 or Acrobat 2015 (to match version numbering for Creative Cloud products). It was released on 7 April 2015. There are more details on Adobe's site. Note that, although Cloud is part of the name, Acrobat itself is installed and used on your local hard drive, as with earlier versions.
In 2017, a paid upgrade upgrade appeared, called Acrobat 2017, followed by Acrobat 2020.
Macintosh users will need a new plug-in if they are running version 3 plug-ins or older. For details please see this page. Windows users are recommended to use the new version.
From October 2015 some users of Acrobat DC will have an update which shows PDF documents in tabs. To work correctly, you will need Quite Imposing Plus 4.0d or later.
New 'Page in use' error in Acrobat DC. Please see Acrobat DC support page. for more info. A new version of Acrobat from Adobe fixes this issue.

'Apple cannot check for malicious software'
This is Apple's message whenever you try to install older software on macOS Catalina. (What it actually means is that all software must be submitted to Apple for 'notarization' in advance by the software developer, something only available for the latest apps). You will not be able to install any Quite product up to version 4 on Catalina. A new version of Quite Imposing Plus and Quite Hot Imposing will be needed. Version 5.0 is available for upgrade now.'Unidentified developer'
On macOS systems you may get a message Install Quite Plug-ins can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. This is a normal message caused by macOS settings. Please see this page for solutions. This message should not appear in Quite Imposing Plus 5.0 and later.'No plug-ins found to install'

Our plug-ins are supported on all the same versions of Windows as Acrobat. However, we can no longer support customers with Windows 95, 98, Me, XP, Vista, or NT 4. Please check the system requirements for Adobe Acrobat, as not all versions of Acrobat are supported on all versions of Windows.
Windows 10, 8.1, 7
The latest versions of plug-ins should run in Windows 10 with Acrobat 10 and later, and Windows 7. We no longer test with Windows 8.1, however there are no known issues with Windows 8.1.Protected mode
In mid-2020, Acrobat DC and 2020 added a new option 'Protected mode'. While this protects from malicious files downloaded from the internet, it stops plug-ins from opening most files, and so we recommend turning it off to work with Quite Imposing Plus. However, a new update Quite Imposing Plus 5.0g was released which allows a lot of the functions of Quite Imposing Plus to continue, with significant limitations. See this page for details.Latest shipping versions
